Pythagoras Principle
Pythagoras Theorem
a² + b² = c²
Watch the blocks from a² and b² fill c²
Test Your Knowledge
1. If a triangle has sides a=3 and b=4, what is c²?
Correct! 3² (9) + 4² (16) = 25.
2. Pythagoras theorem ONLY works on which type of triangle?
Correct! It only applies to triangles with a 90° angle.
3. If the Hypotenuse (c) is 10, and side (a) is 6, what is side (b)?
Correct! 100 - 36 = 64. The square root of 64 is 8.

How it works:
- Right Side (Blue): Blood enters from the body via the Vena Cava into the Right Atrium. It moves to the Right Ventricle and is pumped to the Lungs via the Pulmonary Artery.
- Left Side (Red): Blood enters from the lungs via the Pulmonary Vein into the Left Atrium. It moves to the Left Ventricle and is pumped to the rest of the body via the Aorta.
